Passport & Visas
To be eligible for international travel, you must have a valid passport in which the validity surpasses your return date by at least six months. If you have less than six-months validity on your passport, please make sure you highlight this to your advisor. Unless advised, we will assume that all travellers on a booking have a valid Australian passport which meets the requirements for their destination.
It is the responsibility of each traveller to obtain the necessary visas required for their journey. Should you require assistance with visa applications, we offer a service for which we charge a $55 processing fee for e-visas and a $110 fee for all other types of visas.
Health & Travel Advice
Travel by Courteney recommends checking the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade website (www.smarttraveller.gov.au) for up-to-date travel advice, health requirements, and safety alerts for your destination. Since travel conditions can change without notice, it's important to stay informed.
Ensure you carry all necessary vaccination documentation, as failure to do so may result in being denied boarding or entry into a country.
Please inform your Travel Consultant of any medical, dietary, or mobility conditions, including pregnancy, when booking. Medical requests are at the discretion of the travel provider and cannot be guaranteed.
Travel by Courteney also recommends consulting with your GP prior to travel to understand any vaccinations or medical precautions you may require for your travel destination.
Privacy
You acknowledge that Travel by Courteney and its related entities handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. You confirm that you are authorized to provide personal information on behalf of each traveler in your booking, allowing Travel by Courteney to facilitate travel bookings, manage relationships, and send marketing communications. Failure to provide necessary information may prevent us from making bookings or offering the full range of Travel by Courteney's services. In case of an emergency, you authorize Travel by Courteney to share travel details with relevant government departments or emergency services.
The information collected in your passenger registration is required to ensure accuracy of reservations made on your behalf. We will provide relevant information to third-party suppliers such as hotels, tour companies, foreign consulates, etc. as required for your booking. Please note that these companies may not have the same privacy policies as we do in Australia.

Pricing
All prices quoted by Travel by Courteney are in AUD and inclusive of GST unless otherwise advised. These prices are subject to change due to supplier availability until payment has been received to secure your booking. Payment deadlines advised by your advisor must be met to avoid cancellation by the travel provider. In some cases, full prepayment may be required before confirmation to hold non-refundable services. If that service is later unavailable, your payment will be fully refunded. However, if the service is confirmed, those funds become non-refundable.
As pricing of travel products is now largely dynamic, all advertised prices are correct at the time of publication but may be changed by the supplier or withdrawn by Travel by Courteney at any time. We make every effort to keep our website updated and pricing accurate. For the most up-to-date information and pricing, please reach out directly.
Please note that applicable surcharges will apply to credit card payments as follows: 2% for AMEX and 1.5% for Visa & Mastercard.
Cancellation & Amendments
Subject to your refund and remedy rights under Australian Consumer Law, the following cancellation fees may apply to your booking in addition to any travel service provider fees. Each of our operators and airlines maintain their own policies regarding cancellations and amendments. Should you wish to familiarize yourself with these policies before finalizing your booking, please do not hesitate to reach out.
All bookings are made on your behalf and are subject to the terms and conditions of the travel operator. If a travel service provider’s terms include a “no refund policy,” we can only offer you the remedies provided to us by the operator, which may include a travel credit.
Travel Insurance
Travel by Courteney strongly emphasizes the importance of travel insurance to safeguard your journey. A comprehensive policy can provide essential coverage for unexpected events such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost luggage. I highly recommend that all travellers have adequate insurance in place before their departure. If you have not yet secured a policy, I can arrange a competitive quote tailored to your needs. Please note, in the event that you opt not to obtain insurance through myself, and later require documentation for a claim, an administrative fee of $110 will apply.
